The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of Azad Jammu & Kashmir has accepted the project’s Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) report for the process of approval. A public hearing on the same shall be held on 12th of May 2014. A public notification has been published in two leading national newspapers i.e. “Dawn” in English and “Jang” in Urdu and two Kashmir based newspapers including “Kashmir Express” and “Sada-e-Chanar” on 11th April 2014.
