KOEN(KOSEP) Co., Ltd. was established in 2001 being separated from the electricity generation department of KEPCO(Korea Electric Power Corporation). KOEN supplying the economical power stably to the consumers which is the driving force of the national industry development and essential energy for the cultural life of the people from the 6 power generation complexes including Samcheonpo TP. Currently, KEPCO owns 100% of KOEN/KOSEP ownership.

KOEN is operating and maintaining 10.71% power generation of total Korea’s 78.2 million Kw capacity. KOEN is currently running six power plants of a total capacity of 9,175,000Kw. On the basis of experience with 24 unit power plant construction and operation, KOEN is expanding its business area into the world such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, China, Thailand and Pakistan.
