A meeting was called on by the Deputy Commissioner (Land Collector) as a follow up meeting with local community requiring MPL to give a brief presentation to AJ&K Government Stakeholders (Land Revenue Department, Electricity Department, Kotli Development Authority, Public Works Department and Police) regarding the Project, its impacts and plan with special focus on land acquisition and resettlement.
The Deputy Commissioner, upon detailed briefing of MPL on project, informed that the Government as well as community is very keen in developing such mega projects and will extend full support and cooperation for an early implementation of the Project including land acquisition and resettlement finalization. He welcomed the foreign investment in AJ&K and expressed that the same will bring prosperity for the area and the residents of the area.
