Keeping in mind the corporate responsibility MIRA POWER Limited has always stepped ahead. MPL loves to work for the society where its working and always have the consideration to work for the marginalised people. For the same reason MPL has joined hands with Vision Care who hold their 124th Eye Camp in Hattar on 28-29 January 2013. The volunteers of MPL joined hands with the team of profession who arrived from Korea under the umbrella of Vision Care and help the poor. These volunteers travelled to the distance to help those poor and feel very excited to be part of this great work. Volunteers help in translation, organizing the clients, and assisting the eye specialists.
The eye camp is fully equipped with all the latest equipment to perform over 30 surgeries a day and to administer top of the line eye care treatment for the locals and the surrounding communities. A total of 3,000-plus people are expected to be treated at this camp, which includes free required surgeries, and also free medication, glasses and diagnosis. The initiative was greatly acclaimed by the locals, with a high participation in the camp and more is expected in the coming future.
